Before we get into the trailer, let’s just point out that HBO has used this teaser to drop their new rebrand. Moving forward, HBO Max will now simply be known as Max. Why the hell they would not just call it HBO and bank on the decades of goodwill built up in that brand is beyond us. But, we are talking about the company that greenlit season 2 of Velma.
This first teaser gives us a look in front of and behind the scenes as Collin Farrell returns to reprise his role as The Penguin in this spin-off series from the Matt Reeves directed The Batman starring Robert Pattinson.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
