Just a little while ago, the first trailer for season 2 of The Mandalorian dropped from Disney+ and we have a much better idea of the adventure that lies ahead. In the new season Pedro Pascal’s Mandalorian is on a mission to return the child (Baby Yoda) to it’s own people, and that means dealing with the Jedi along the way, who Mando considers to be a race of evil wizards.

While the action looks great, we’re really excited to see how this story will progress and how it will eventually intersect with Clone Wars characters like Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren. It’s previously been announced that Rosario Dawson will be taking on the roll of Tano, and there are rumors that WWE star Sasha Banks will be playing Wren. Based on her hooded appearance in the trailer however, we have a feeling that she is more likely to be playing a character sent by the last vestiges of the Empire to hunt for the child. Don’t be surprise if she’s a force user herself.

The new season of The Mandalorian starts streaming Friday, October 30, only on Disney+. The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. “The Mandalorian” stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer.
