Earlier today, Ming-Na Wen was honored as a Disney Legend at D23 for her work as the voice of Mulan and her role as Agent May in Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD. Along with the honor, it was also announced that Wen can add another monster franchise to her belt alongside Disney Animation and Marvel. It’s just been revealed that she will be joining the cast of The Mandalorian, Disney+’s live-action Star Wars series. Wen might now be the only actress to be a Disney Princess who has also been in a Marvel and Star Wars property.
Deadline is reporting that when Bob Iger made the announcement at this morning’s award ceremony, she responded by saying:
“Please just keep acquiring all these different franchises, because I just keep getting employed by them. I have hit every bucket list thanks to Disney.”
