While some small tidbits about the upcoming fourth chapter in the Matrix franchise have slipped out over the last few months, we’ve yet to really see anything official from the movie. It’s looking like that could all change very soon. Twitter user Ry WIlliams posted this banner that he saw in Liverpool a few hours ago that unveils the official Matrix website (the site is now live), and says “Trailer in 2 Days.”

We checked the website and it is official, though right now all it has is the scrolling data of the Matrix running down the screen. There’s really no reason to believe that we won’t have our first look at the latest adventure of Neo and Trinity by this time on Wednesday or Thursday!

The Matrix: Resurrections stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jada Pinkett Smith, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick and Jonathan Groff. The film is slated for simultaneous release in both theaters and on HBO Max on December 22, 2021. However, with the success of Shang-Chi, there’s a good chance we may see Warner Bros opt for a 45-day theatrical exclusive window.
