Deadline is reporting that Nat Geo has filled out their cast for the upcoming series adaptation of the Tom Wolfe book, The Right Stuff, which also spawned a hit film in 1983. The book and film focus on the first fifteen years of America’s space program and the dangers and frustrations experienced by Mercury astronauts John Glenn, Alan Shepard , and others.
The newest cast members to join the planned series adaptation of the story include Eric Ladin (American Sniper), Patrick Fischler (Twin Peaks), Nora Zehetner (Brick), Eloise Mumford (Fifty Shades Freed), Shannon Lucio (Prison Break) and Josh Cooke (Grace and Frankie).
The actors join an impressive cast that already includes Patrick J. Adams, Jake McDorman, Joe Dempsie, Aaron Staton, Michael Trotter, Micah Stock and James Lafferty as the Mercury 7.
