I grew up with The Tick, first in comics and on Fox Saturday mornings, and then, later on with the live action series that featured Patrick Warburton in the lead role with a cast that included Nestor Carbonell as Batmanuel.
Last week, reports started floating around that Amazon was considering bringing back the series which had only aired for nine episodes before getting the can. Now, it is being announced that there is a pilot in the planning stage and that Patrick Warburton had previously set up a deal with Sony Television (they own the rights) that he will get to reprise his role as The Tick, should the opportunity arise again.
