Hmm… the script is coming from the same person who did the Twilight films. Does this mean that during the quickening, Reynolds will sparkle? It is a safe bet. As the film series gave way to the TV series, Highlander went from being a great fantasy/action series to being a lot more geared for its female viewers. When you consider that and then look at the fact that the Twilight people are working on it… it looks like we have a new franchise on the horizon that will make the teenage girls go gaga at future Comic COns.
Still, I’m glad to see Reynolds get the role. It will give him a good palate cleanser before he gets all down and dirty for Deadpool. Ya, I still think that movie will happen. At least I hope it will.
