Thor: Ragnarok might be the first film about the God of Thunder that actually has me excited. With a story that will include Planet Hulk, and a cast that includes talent like Cate Blanchett as Hela, and Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, it’s definitely one of the most promising in the series.
New reports from Australian media have the film revving up production down under on July 4th at Village Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast. The film will be in production there all the way through October. There’s a good chance that this will be the most complicated film of the trilogy, with scenes taking place on at least three planets and the movie not only somehow connecting Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2 as well as being the most logical jumping off point for the upcoming Infinity Wars films.
Joining Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Cate Blanchett as Hela, and Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, are: Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, and Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Karl Urban as Skurge.
Thor: Ragnarok is set for a November 3, 2017 Release.
