The new trailer just dropped for the long-delayed Top Gun sequel, Top Gun: Maverick. In the new trailer, we get plenty of footage of dog fights and flying, along with our first look at how they managed to incorporate Val Kilmer’s Ice Man into the story. It will be interesting to see if the actor is able to appear in the film for a cameo, or if we are just going to see a photo of him.
Top Gun: Maverick sees Tom Cruise’s return to the skies to teach a new era of candidates that includes the son of Maverick’s deceased wing man, Goose, played by Miles Teller. The new film also features Jennifer Connelly as Penny Benjamin, Jon Hamm as Vice Admiral Cyclone, Glen Powell as Hangman, Lewis Pullman as Bob, Ed Harris as Rear Admiral, Monica Barbaro as Phoenix, Charles Parnell as Rear Admiral Warlock, Danny Ramirez as Fanboy, Manny Jacinto as Fritz, Bashir Salahuddin as Coleman, and Jay Ellis as Payback.
