When the Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory hits theaters next summer, there will be at least two new characters – A beluga whale and a Whale Shark, voiced by Ty Burrell and Kaitlin Olson.
EW has released the first image of the two characters, who seem to have worked out a bit of a symbiotic, if not dysfunctional, relationship.
On their relationship, Burrell says:
“My character isn’t great at his own sonar capability, and Destiny has trouble swimming straight.”
While Olsen also added:
“We totally get on each other’s nerves. I like to think I’m a shark, but Bailey calls me a whale, and I make fun of his head, because it’s gigantic.”
The film also features the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Ed O’Neill, Idris Elba, Dominic West, and Willem Dafoe.
Finding Dory opens in theaters on June 17, 2016.
