The Velocicoaster has been one of the worst kept secrets in the last year of the theme park world, but the ride wasn’t officially announced until just yesterday. Now, Universal Studios Orlando has unveiled their newest Jurassic Park thrill ride, set to officially open next summer.
The new coaster will give riders a chance to experience a roller coaster version of what it would be like to go on a hunt with velociraptors, but unlike the dinos, you’ll get to flip upside down four times.
The new ride will be directly competing with the latest coaster to hit Disney World in 2021, the US version of Disney’s highly popular Tron Lightcycle coaster.
