It turns out that throughout it all, he was filming his life. Now, as he is recovering from throat cancer, he’s taking us on the journey with him in a new documentary called Val.
Val will hit theaters later this month, we’re guessing so it can be included for consideration for a Best Documentary Oscar. If you miss it in theaters, you’ll be able to catch it on Prime when it lands there August 6th.
