Val Kilmer has been a part of our world since movies like Real Genius and Top Secret. He was Ice Man in Top Gun. He was Batman. He was The Saint. He was even Jim Morrison. It turns out that throughout it all, he was filming his life. Now, as he is recovering from throat cancer, he’s taking us on the journey with him in a new documentary called Val.
Val will hit theaters later this month, we’re guessing so it can be included for consideration for a Best Documentary Oscar. If you miss it in theaters, you’ll be able to catch it on Prime when it lands there August 6th.
