Last night we showed you the official trailer for WB’s Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Just couple hours ago, the first episode was released. It might just be the most star studded video game adaptation since the Mario Bros Movie.
the web series, which is set to have 12 episodes (making the full running time around 2 hours) follows the characters Sony (Jeri Ryan), Jax (Michael Jae White) and Stryker (Tamoh Pennikett) as they go up against Kano (Darren Shahlavi) and his evil forces.
So far, the cast is impressive, but the special effects and gun battles leave a little to be desired. We’ve got 11 more episodes, so I’ll withhold judgment until at least after episode 3.
