Fear the Walking Dead, the second series from the Walking Dead universe created by Robert Kirkman and AMC is finally getting ready to air. In some aspects, I’m really looking forward to another take on the world of walkers and seeing how a different group of people handle the end of the world. On the other hand, they are going to have to do a lot to make me care about these characters. So far, I’m not sure the trailers have really done that for me.

So, what do you think? Can the new series live up to it’s legacy? Should it even be compared to it or should we consider it as it’s own independent entity?

Set in the same universe as “The Walking Dead,” “Fear the Walking Dead” is a gritty drama that explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the lens of a fractured family in Los Angeles. In a city where people come to escape, shield secrets, and bury their pasts, a mysterious outbreak threatens to disrupt what little stability high school guidance counselor Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and English teacher Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) have managed to assemble.
