Mutants are coming to the MCU. If it’s not through Wanda Maximoff, it will definitely be through Professor Charles Xavier when he debuts in the upcoming Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness as a member of the Illuminati. Now, a casual set of tweets seem to have possibly revealed who will be hammering out the script that brings the X-Men to our little corner of the multiverse.
In a conversation between Michael Waldron (writer of Multiverse of Madness, Loki, several episodes of Rick and Morty, and Heels) and Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Writer of Thor: Love and Thunder and producer of Hawkeye) a simple goodbye seems to have turned into a big news event.
The conversation ends with Waldon saying “Good luck with your life,” to Robinson and her responding with “Good luck w Writing X-Men.”
There has been no official announcement and we don’t expect to see one until after Doctor Strange 2 hits theaters. In fact, given that he wrote the movie and he could be writing the X-men movie, this is a great place to drop an introductory post-credits scene, even if it’s just Professor X looking out the window of his school and someone walking into the room and scratching three metal claws along a table.
