DreamWorks Dragons: Adventures with Dragons A Pop-Up History
$65.00 • Insight Editions • Get Yours Now

Any time we have a chance to draw attention to the work Insight Editions has done with pop-up books, we take it. The most amazing pop-up they’ve added to their roster this year is the How To Train Your Dragons Inspired Adventures WIth Dragons: A Pop-Up History.  This is not the kind of pop-up book you had as a child. This book gives you a beautiful history of the How to train Your Dragon movies. The pop-ups are vivid and fascinating with little bits you can pull out of each page as well that add to the story. The book starts with Berk and ends with the Hidden World with each page showing a different scene from the movies. Any child who is respectful of books would get lost in the fantasy worlds that unfold on each page. With that said, we’re fully grown adults and we found ourselves getting lost in the fantasy of dragons ourselves.

Harry Potter: Exploring Hogwarts: An Illustrated Guide
$21.49 • Insight Editions • Get Yours Now

This is one of the best books we’ve ever seen for fans of the Harry Potter Novels and movies. There are many behind the scenes books for all our favorite movies but this one is unique and interesting. It doesn’t just slap in a bunch of photos from the films. Instead, there are adorable illustrations and interactive features that help immerse you in the world of Harry Potter. Each page is a different part of the castle (and Hogsmeade) from the moving staircases to the Headmaster’s Office. Keep a lookout for the clapboard symbol. Those explain the movie magic used to bring the books to life. We’d say that any Harry Potter fan would be happy to have this book on their shelf, but we don’t think it’ll be spending much time there. Every time a fan comes to your home, you’ll have to bring it out to show them how awesome it is.
