Clockman Alarm Clock
Sometimes a normal American alarm clock just won’t do. You need that little extra oomph to get you out of bed the in morning… and nothing says oomph like a clock that yells at you in Japanese. Ya, this is definitely one of those special novelty gifts but it was actually a lot of fun to play with. Don’t get me wrong this thing does more than just yell at you… but I don’t speak Japanese, so that’s pretty much what it did for me.
Here’s where it gets weird. It has a face… and the face moves while it yells at you. That’s right.. I’m pretty sure that Takara Tomy’s Clockman is one of the final steps before Skynet wipes us all out. He can learn your birthday, you can put him to sleep, He plays games with you… and he yells at you in Japanese! He even has a different personality depending on which color you get.
