Hasbro scrabble flash
This is not the Scrabble you grew up with. In fact, it is a little bit closer to Boggle in some ways, but as a Boggle lover, I was pretty stoked after trying out this game. Forget the board and all the tiles of old school Scrabble. This game is boiled down to five super smart cubes with screens on them. You start your turn and letters appear on the screens. What you do next is you start lining up the letters so that they make words.
Here’s where it gets weird. The cubes recognize when they’ve formed a word and they give you a score. They are smart enough that they won’t let you use the same word twice in a round. It also tracks your high scores and tell you how many words you could have gotten if you were as smart as it is.
True, this might be just another harbinger of the coming robot apocalypse, but it is a heck of a lot of fun for pretty much all ages from kids up to adults.

Konexi
It’s like Scrabble got drunk and had a baby with Jenga. Konexi is a game that combines word creation with stacking and balance for a challenging but hilarious time. We loved playing around with this game. The instructions are pretty basic and the game moves nice and quickly. The real challenge is being able to stack the letters without having the whole tower collapse. Now, not that we would ever advocate drinking or anything like that, but we have found that if you have to take a shot every time you knock over the tower, the game takes on a whole new skill level!

U build connect Four
Don’t just think of this as Connect Four. This is more like Connect Four with Plinko attached to it. I like both games, so this was great for me. It really does add a new dimension to a game that has been around since forever.
One of the things that makes this a bit more unique is you actually can design a portion of the game board. That means that you can play a totally different type of game each time. We thought that was really cool and definitely warranted suggesting it to you all.

Game of Life 50th Anniversary Edition
OK, there’s really not all that much to say here. If you like the Game Of Life than you will like the 50th anniversary edition. Some of the rules are a bit different. Some people think that the changes make the game a little harder… but look outside! Life is little bit harder these days and I’m glad to see that the game has adapted to the new society. For example, you can actually go back to school in this version and change careers if you lose your job. The only thing that would make it even more real is a space on the board for an interest free loan!

Doraemon Darake Balance Game
Do you have that friend who is always showing off with their chopstick skills whenever you go out for Chinese food or Sushi? The Doraemon Darake Balance game is the perfect gift to shut them up and make them eat their words. This stacking game combines the popular Japanese character, Doraemon, and forces you to stack him using only chop sticks. You can use a flat surface or the extra hard rounded bottom platform that comes with the game if you want to torture yourself.
You will have tons of fun with this game, especially if you make everyone take a drink whenever the stack falls… which will be often!

U Build Battleship
OK, have you played Battleship before? This is kind of like that, but a little bit different. I’ve always loved Battleship so I thought this might be fun, and it is… though because the board is made of cardboard, it isn’t as durable as the original game, so handle with care.
That said, this does bring some cool stuff to the party. It was a lot of fun to be able to customize your own ships. It makes it a bit tougher for someone to figure out what you’ve got. Plus, you can even add weapons to your ships to give yourself a little extra bonus. U-Build Battleship was definitely an interesting new twist on a classic.

Monopoly Revolutions
Monopoly… in a Circle? Madness you say! No, really, its round. No corners… This is not your momma’s Monopoly. Gone is the money… replaced by an electronic debit system… and now you’ve got interactive sounds to help speed along the game. Look everyone loves Monopoly, but they all admit that it gets a bit old after four hours of the same game. Adding fun little things like the sound of a jail door slamming when you go to jail and other little bells and whistles really has helped freshen up this version.

Pop-a-matic R2D2 is in Trouble
This is a pretty simple concept… Do you like the old Pop-a-matic Trouble game? This is that, but with R2 D2 on the board, in the bubble and making some noise. It is actually a lot of fun for the kids who are just starting out on games like Trouble… especially if they are hooked on Clone Wars.

Bop – It Bounce
This is another one of those games that’s good for all ages. The concept is simple… bounce the ball on the bouncy thing… but, it actually takes some practice to get good at it. Also, it isn’t just bouncing the ball till forever. The game has different modes like a time based mode and one where you have to see how high you can bounce the ball. This is just as much fun for a couple of 7 year olds as it is for a bunch of 25 year olds who have to take a shot every time they drop the ball. It is great for parties or when you want to just play by yourself. For the price, it’s a great little game.

Cuponk
Cuponk is a game I was actually pretty skeptical about, but after trying it out, I have to admit… it is pretty fun. Once again. this is one of those games that is pretty simple at its core… You just have to bounce the ball into the cup. It’s beer pong without the beer… but then there’s a twist. The game comes with cards giving different ways you have to try and get the ball into the cup. For Instance, you might have to bounce it off the wall, or over a stool first. Then, you can also make up your own tricks and challenge your friends to do them too. It sounds almost too simple, but then you realize you just spent 6 hours playing the game and you can’t figure out where the time went.
