To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Katsuhiro Otomo’s groundbreaking seminal manga “Akira,” Bandai Visual will released an authentic replica of Kaneda’s red “capsule” jacket from the series.
The smoking hot jacket is made from softened authentic cowhide leather and will run you around $900. A small price to pay for looking awesome. But that’s not all, there will also an alternate black version — for those who want to secretly be Akira but aren’t daring enough to wear red — that replaces the capsule graphic on the back with a “2019 A.D. Neo Tokyo” logo.
