As Mattel gears up for their MattyCollector.com’s Collector Appreciation Tour 2011, unfortunate news broke today that is sure to upset if not enrage long time Mattel loyalists and Justice League Unlimited collectors.
Mattel announced Wednesday that the remaining new JLU 3-packs will be offered as convention only exclusive first and if any are left over, they will be available on MattyCollectors.com at the end of the year. They will not however, be sold at retail.
MattyCollector.com’s Collector Appreciation Tour 2011 kicks off first at C2E2 in Chicago (3/18-3/20) and will then be at WonderCon in San Francisco from 4/1-4/3. The JLU 3-packs can be bought first come first serve at the Matty booth for $20 each with a limit of 10.
