McFarlane Toys has just unveiled images for their first series of figures based off of the wildly popular anime, My Hero Academia. The first series will include figures for TOMURA SHIGARAKI, All Might, Katsuki Bakugo, and Izuku Midoriya. The figures actually look great and remind me a little of when McFarlane first dipped their toe into the Anime realm back in the early 00s (I wish I had the Akira figures they made back then!). If there’s one thing missing, it would have to be that Midoriya doesn’t come with an alternate head where he’s crying.
TOMURA SHIGARAKI
His origins are unclear, and he is a mysterious Villain. Though his reasons are not known, he plans to kill All Might. He is the secondary leader of the League of Villains. He appears to have a Quirk that causes anything he touches with all 5 fingers to disintegrate.

The greatest hero, also called the Symbol of Peace. He was injured in a past battle, leaving him unable to function as a hero except for a limited time. His Quirk, One For All, has been passed on to him and nurtured, and he is also able to pass it on himself, later passing it on to Deku.
