Dread Centeral reports that NECA has nabbed the rights to produce officially licensed toys based off the “Evil Dead” series. That means Bruce Campbell fans will have the chance to get a new Ash figure along with other awesome plastic renditions from “Evil Dead.” While there aren’t any images to show you now, NECA does plan on debuting a prototype of their new Ash figure from “Evil Dead II” at this year’s San Diego Comic Con 2011! Stay tuned!
Between the Terminator 2 figures, Gremlins 2, Robocop and now Evil Dead, it seems as if I’ll be replacing all toys with new NECA stuff this year. It’s good to be a toy geek once again! Now if only NECA will reissue their incredibility hard to find TMNT figures…
