When it was announced that NECA bought Loot Crate, this is the exact kind of thing we were hoping to see. One of the first crowdfunding crates we saw launch was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie box featuring an exclusive Spirit of Splinter action figure. Today it was announced that the first has been successfully funded, adding a great new collectible to the already excellent TMNT movie figure line.
The good news is that you can still jump in and grab the box HERE for $49.95. Sadly, but not unexpectedly, it looks like the Gremlins box is only at 16% funded with four days to go. While it was a great set, it would have made more sense to just sell the accessory pack instead of forcing people to buy more Gremlins.
