Wow. We were not really expecting this and it’s one of the coolest things that we’ve seen in a while from Super7. Earlier today, the toy company dropped the first pics on three figures from an upcoming line called “Disney Ultimates Figures.”

We love Disney, but often times the toys are either cheap or so pricey that it isn’t really feasible to collect them. We don’t know what the price point on this new line is, but if they can land somewhere in the $20-$30 per figure, we might just have the next series to add to our collection.

Very little is known about the figures right now. We don’t know size, availability, or anything else really. What we do know is that the first three figures will be The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Mouse from Fantasia, Pinocchio with Jiminy Cricket and Figaro, and Prince John and Sir Hiss from Robin Hood. We are hoping Mickey comes with at least one walking broom, but we are loving the cloth goods cape that he’s sporting. Meanwhile, it looks like all of the figures have fairly decent articulation.

Until we saw these pictures, the idea of owning a Pinocchio action figure had never crossed our minds. Now it won’t get out of our head. As soon as more details are released, we’ll have them for you here. In the meantime, here are the pics Super7 dropped on Facebook today.
