Need a story that will make you smile? What is more heart warming about a little kid building an arcade out of cardboard and having hundreds of people show up to play? His name is Caine and while he was hanging out with his dad at the family auto shop, he started building his favorite arcade/ midway games out of old cardboard boxes. The clever kid even devised his own ticket system and then he opened for business. At first, he only had just one customer… but that customer was a film maker and that film maker had a plan. With the help of social media and what I’m choosing to believe are several hundred hipsters who attended to make a kid feel good and not because they could ironically enjoy the kitsch of a cardboard arcade, they turned Caine’s arcade into one of the hottest spots in East LA.
