I’ve never seen a building throw shade before, but that seems to be exactly what’s happening this year in the fast food wars. A Burger King located at 92-85 Queens Blvd in New York, has been dressed up to look like the ghost of its “arch” rival, McDonald’s. They even go as far as to write McDonald’s on the sign, followed by:
“Just Kidding, we still flame broiled our burgers.”
It’ll be interesting to see if Mickey D’s does anything to retaliate. I’m guessing that they will stay quiet for now. With all the clown hate out there, Ronald McDonald is libel to get his ass kicked if he shows his face on the streets after dark.
