There are Star Wars fans and then there are Vic Wertz and Lisa Stevens. It takes a special level of fandom to create your own custom home theater designed to look like it dropped right out of the Death Star.
If the designs look unusually accurate to the SW universe, don’t be surprised, they enlisted t the help of Doug Chiang, the lead designer on Episode I and II to help make it just right.
Depending on which one of them you ask, you’ll get a different answer on where the inspiration for the design comes from Lisa will tell you that it is from the control deck of the Death Star, but Vic says that it is a lot closer to Vader’s Star Destroyer in The Empire Strikes Back.
