Japan has begun to commercially produce an exo skeleton that can assist humans to be more mobile. This initial prototype is known as HAL (Hybrid Assistive Limb) and while it is not exactly a Gundam robot, what it is a robot exo skeleton that can be worn over arms and legs to assist body movement.
Ideally, it is perfect for the handicap, elderly, or those who are just weak. Created by Cyberdyne Inc, the company expects the robot exo skeleton to be available for rental or individual sales in the near future.
Seriously? Cyberdyne?
Are our old and weak to become the next Terminators?
Pretty cool. BUT, it’s called HAL and made by Cyberdyne? These guys really need to watch more movies before they name stuff.
