Forbes’ 15 Richest Fictional Characters

Although Forbes normally sticks to publishing lists of the very rich and very real billionaires, on occasion they do let their inner geek out with a yearly list of the top richest fictional characters.

Forbes has just released their list of the top 15 richest fictional characters. To qualify, the candidates had to be an authored fictional creation, a rule which excludes mythological and folkloric characters.

“Net worth estimates are based on an analysis of the fictional character’s source material, and valued against known real-world commodity and share price movements. In the case of privately held fictional concerns, we sought to identify comparable fictional public companies. All prices are as of market close, April 12, 2010.”

From the looks of things not much has changes between Tony and Bruce. Richie Rich is seeing his fortune decline. Meanwhile Scrooge McDuck has made a killing this year with the surging of gold.
