If you thought Ducky from The Land Before Time was the goofiest looking dinosaur (Saurolophus), you have thought too soon. Researchers have just unveiled newly discovered species of dinosaur that looks like a duck, an ostrich, and a crocodile got drunk and had a night they’d rather not remember.
It’s called the Halszkaraptor and it was only around 18 inches tall, but the dino had a duckbill with croc-like teeth, a swan’s neck, and vicious claws. While it couldn’t fly, the two legged carnivore was apparently a heck of a swimmer when it roamed the earth 75million years ago in what is now Mongolia.
