Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes is pretty much the textbook example of how not to make a good remake of a film. It was a movie that was so bad that it actually kept me from seeing Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Thankfully, I eventually saw it and am now counting down the days to the Rise of the Planet Of The Apes.
