This is an alleged elaborate public food-court proposal that goes wrong. Seriously, who proposes at a food court in a mall? That right there should give you the heads up that it’s going to fail. If you’re going to propose so publicly, at least pick some place romantic like Disney World (they’re not paying us to say this) or a fancy restaurant.
A lot of Internet doubters are calling this a viral hoax, and while it does have the feel of one, the original poster claims that it was not fabricated and it did happen recently at the Sherman Oaks Fashion mall.
