MECC’s ‘The Oregon Trail’ – Official (Fake) Trailer

The premise is simple, it’s 1864 and you a family embarks on an impossible journey into the untamed American West.

Based on the classic educational computer game “The Oregon Trail” by MECC, the folks from Half Day Today has created the ultimate fake trailer that surpasses all fake trailers to date including Nathan Fillion as the Green Lantern.

I think it’s safe to say that everyone who grew up during the 80s and 90s played this game in school and it’s nice to finally see it being adapted into a featured film even if it’s not real. Honestly, I can’t think of any game more deserving for an adaptation than The Oregon Trail. Good job, Half Day Today, nostalgia and my inner child thanks you profusely.

And how about that soundtrack? Brilliant all around!

Matt Murdock

Lawyer by day, superhero by night. Good friend, awful husband
