There have been several artists out there that have based their work around human skulls, but this is the first artist that we’ve ever seen that builds intricate little worlds on top of them and then coats the whole thing in precious metals. Most of his work is in silver, but there are also a couple of gold pieces in the gallery below. I’m not sure if he uses real human skulls or replicas, but I’d like to think its the real thing. That said, I’d probably be pissed if I died and then found out some artist was building pagodas on my head and then selling me to the highest bidder.
