It must be tearjerker Thursday, either that or my eyes are sweating. When Wayne was alive, his dog Spot would always wait on their country road for him to return. This story gets inexplicably sad because Wayne’s been gone for five months now, yet Spot is still by the same spot waiting for him everyday.
“I have no doubt that’s what that dog is waiting for. It breaks my heart every time I go out there,” says Paul, Wayne’s son who check up on her twice a day.
“If you can ever find anything that loves you that much, it’s the most precious gift in the world.” It’s possible, one day, Spot might give up. But according to Paul, he doesn’t think so.
