It’s September, and that means that Christmas decorations will be up in stores by the end of the week. We’ll have all kinds of great suggestions for your gift giving this year, but we wanted to start out by showing you one of the cooler, unique gifts that you’ll find anywhere on the net.

Terrariums have always been cool. I still remember the first time that I built one for a school project and how sad I was when I realized that sealing a frog inside it was not the wisest of choices. Thankfully, Jacie Anderson-Coovert is smarter than me. Instead of filling them with creatures that are clearly going to die in just a matter of days (what the hell was I thinking?!?), they are designed in honor of some of the greatest and geekiest films and TV shows ever created.

Among Jacie’s inspiration are The X-Files, Adventure Time, Harry Potter, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, The Hunger Games, Doctor Who, and more.

Check them out below and then Click here to grab one of your very own!
