If you thought shape-shifting liquid metal was the kind of thing you’d only see from the T-1000’s in the Terminator films, you are in for a big surprise.

The potential result could mean a major leap forward for soft robotics and the eventual Terminators that will decimate mankind. Before we end up with Robert Patrick asking you if you’ve ‘Seen this boy?’, it’s more likely that we’ll see the new class of metals being used in liquid metal circuits.
