Nick Kroll and Netflix are taking a pretty big swing towards controversy with their next new animated series. Big Mouth is a new cartoon for grown ups about the horrors and wonders of puberty, complete with demonic puberty faries and talking vaginas. On the surface, it sounds like it could be awful, but Nick Kroll has been great on both the Kroll show and The League. If there’s anyone who can take this idea and make it work, it’s probably him, and the trailer is actually pretty promising.
Relive puberty from the safety of your sofa. Big Mouth is coming to Netflix, September 29.
