Some people specialize in photographing foods, doors, or babies dressed as plants. Japanese photographer Not Hiroyuki Hisakata. He plays with cats and then takes pics of them in poses that make them look like ninjas.
The photographer is actually quite serious about his work. In fact, he keeps the island where he snaps most of his kitty pics secret. He heads off on is own, armed with his camera and a bag of cat toys, into the sunset. When he comes back, he’s captured photos that are as impressive as they are amusing.
Some animal activists have called his practices abusive, but he says he does everything he can to prevent injury, including calling off his plans to take pictures if he notices the strays are getting a little too riled up.
