When you think of the heralds of Galactus, the first one that comes to mind will always be Norin Radd/ The Silver Surfer. We’ve known for a while that The MCU has wanted to develop something around the Silver Surfer, which makes this rumor a little odd. MCUCosmic is reporting that Marvel Studios has big plans to bring Galactus into the Marvel Cinematic Universe sooner than you might think. Additionally, it looks like his wayward herald, Tyrant will also be coming up in the not too distant future.
What does this mean? Well, we could easily see Galactus appear in The Eternals. It could the stage for the introduction of the Fantastic Four at a later date. As for Tyrant, he was a herald that went bad and eventually waged war against Galactus in a battle that destroyed several galaxies. It’s very possible that he could be reset as the first herald of Galactus leading the world eater to enlist Norin Radd into the role of Silver Surfer as a replacement when Tyrant quits.
It’s fun to guess, but we won’t know anything for sure at least until Eternals hits theaters in November of 2020.
