One of the most important characters in the Evil Dead isn’t even a person, it’s a book. The Necronomicon to be exact. With the first trailer out and buzz starting to grow around the reboot of the franchise starring Jane Levy, the movie has released some new pics of the book of the dead on their Facebook page. Official synopsis for Evil Dead:
In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
