Another day, another vampire film. Who says Hollywood is a cookie-cutter copycat league? Here we have your first look at yet another vampire film that’s coming to us soon in “Daybreakers.”
This time, however, we have a much more serious Ethan Hawke than a love sick Edward Cullen. The story takes place in a vampire universe where their entire race is on the brink of extinction as the blood they depend on is running out.
“Daybreakers” also stars Willem Defoe and Sam Neill and will be directed by the Spierig brothers.
With a great twist and a new take on the whole vampire concept, “Daybreakers” is actually looking as if it’ll be the first vampire film that won’t suck.
