“Be Stupid” has got to be the most straight forward and idiotic marketing campaign yet from the Italian Diesel brand. Diesel apparently wants you to be stupid and buy their overpriced marked up stuff. The images below are actual advertisements that have been plastered all over a few Times Square subway stations.
I suppose this can be seen as a brilliant ad campaign as it speaks directly to their consumers. Because let’s face it, if I’ve learned anything from Brett Farve’s and his Wrangler commercials, it’s that you’ve got to be stupid to want to pay $290 for a pair of jeans.
