I don’t know what this is, but some folks with some serious talent and cash money have created this amazing eight minute clip of a new live-adaptation Mortal Kombat film starring Michael Jai White (The Dark Knight, Spawn).
“Mortal Kombat: Rebirth” marks the unofficial return of Mortal Kombat to film and is probably one of the most bloodiest and darkest adaptations to date. It features re-imagined Jax, Sonya, Reptile, Johnny Cage, Barakka, and more. It’s unknown if this is for a new film or a trailer for just a new game.
Whatever the case, it’s a must watch. Wow, I think I’m getting a mini stroke from its uncontainable awesomeness.

We’ve found out that this clip is a promo reel for an upcoming MK featured film reboot. This clip was directed by Kevin Tancharoen (Fame). The fight choreography was handled by Larnell Stovall and it stars Michael Jai White, Jeri Ryan, Lateef Crowder, and Matt Mullins.
