The 2020 Emmy nominations are out and streaming networks have cemented their place in the world of TV awards. Netflix has the most nominations with 160. However, looking beyond the networks, it seems that the big winners today are comic book and Scifi shows. HOB’s The Watchmen has the most nominations of any program with 26 and Disney+’s The Mandalorian is tipping in at 14. The Star Wars series is not only nominated as the Outstanding drama series of the year, but it also has production nominations for nearly every individual episode of the series.
