The first season of the Star Wars series, Ahsoka on Disney+ wasn’t the best show that the franchise has created, but it showed enough promise that many people have been excited about what could happen in a second season. Unfortunately, Ray Stevenson, the actor who played the antagonist and the show’s most interesting character, Baylan Skoll, died shortly after the first season completed production.

Now, THR is reporting that Lucasfilm has recast the role of Skoll with Game Of Throne’s “Hound,” Rory McCann. While no date has been set for the upcoming second season, it isn’t a huge surprise that it is happening. Along with being the passion project of Dave Filoni, there’s a good chance that the Ahsoka story is going to play a major role in the upcoming film that is set to wrap up the “Mando-verse” era of Star Wars that began with The Mandalorian.
