Starz thinks that they’ve got a hit on their hand with their new series Ash vs Evil Dead, set to premier on their network on Halloween. They’ve just announced that they are already locking in a second season.
The show stars Bruce Campbell as Ash, the role that made him a legend, along with Lucy Lawless and continues the adventures that we have all come to love from the Evil Dead franchise.
Starz Managing director, Carmi Zlotnik had this to say:
“One season isn’t enough to satisfy the fans’ two-decade-long appetite for more Ash. The early fan and press support, along with the international broadcaster demand for more story, have made it clear that the adventures of Ash Williams can’t end with Season 1.”
Season 1 premiers on Halloween with a 10 episode season. Season 2 of Ash Vs. Evil Dead is expected to air in late 2016.
