While it’s hard to get the bad taste of the Transformer films out of your mouth, there was a time in the past when Michael Bay was known for created fun and exciting films. One of the best things he’s created along the way is the Bad Boys film franchise starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.
It’s been fifteen years since we got Bad Boys 2 and there had been rumblings that a third film would be heading our way for the last few years. Well, today we got our confirmation when Smith and Lawrence took to social media to announce “It’s official. Bad Boys for Life. #teammartymar #badboysforlife@willsmith #weback.”
Sony has a tentative release date for the film of January 17, 2020, (now titled Bad Boys For Life) so they are going to need to get things moving if they plan to release on time. One big change that we’ll see this time around is that Bay will not be directing the film. Instead, that task will be handled by Belgian filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah
