We’ve known that Black Mask was set as the bad guy in the upcoming DCEU ‘Birds Of Prey’ film. Today, along with confirmation that the film would indeed be R-Rated, we also got word that the Star Wars and Trainspotting star, Ewan McGregor has been confirmed as playing the antagonist in the movie.
As Gotham Mob Boss Roman Sionis, McGregor will be going up against a team that includes Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez).
The DCEU still has a long way to go to win back a lot of the fans it lost along the way, but the idea of seeing McGregor as a comic book villain is just too good to pass up.
